This wonderful oil is sourced from Morro Creek Ranch, Morro Bay, CA. Like olive oil, avocado oil is extracted from the pulp surrounding the pit, not from the seed. It can be used as an ingredient as well as a cooking oil. It is high in monounsaturated fats and vitamin E and is naturally low acidic. It is deep green in color and works well for baking, stir-frying, deep-frying, searing, barbecuing, roasting and sautéing. Also, it is magic for reawakening tired guacamole or store bought avocados.
